President’s Letter: March 2016

President’s Letter – March

I will start by thanking Stacie and Brian  for opening their home to the club in February. It was a great spring like day with some fantastic food. Alla Dickson (artist) brought out the artistic abilities in some of our club members, while Ed  won the all-around marksmanship contest. It was a great change of pace to temporarily escape the winter blues.

We had a new visitor Tuesday. Jack  and his wife are the new owners of 2004 vette. Congratulations and we look forward to seeing them at our first cruise.

Gary has brought to the clubs attention the “Wallace Racing Group” driving experience over by Jackson, MI. Please go to the LCC web site for more information and/or contact Gary to sign up. Also, there is a low speed (rookie) driving school May 14th in Marshall, MI. Please contact the Calhoun or Kalamazoo clubs for more info.

Our two rally dates have been set for May 7th and August 27th each with 5 rally stops. Please participate and/or volunteer to make our LCC sponsored events successful!

In Brief:

  1. Our new and improved website should be online soon.
  2. Bloomington Gold trip is on schedule for June with 18 cars signed up and room for 2 more.
  3. NCCC is looking for volunteers for the Family Helping Family Program.

I would also like to thank Brian (VP) for his time in revising/improving our website. I know I would be lost if I had anything to do with it.

First Cruise: We will meet at Sam’s Club Tuesday, April 12th. We leave at 6:30.

Please visit our website: www.lakeshorecorvetteclub.com  or contact a member/board member for any additional information.
